Elise and Harry’s golden hour engagement shoot in Minneapolis was glowy and laugh-filled and silly and sweet. I love this couple. They both have an initial quietness that belies how funny and down-to-clown they are.
Full disclosure: I have the privilege of working with Harry. He is a super talented photography himself, and so I was admittedly a little nervous heading into this session myself. The best part of this session was getting to know Elise and see the two of them together.
We strolled around Cedar Lake on a fairly hot June evening, giving the right-of-way to geese when necessary. I got to see Elise’s figure skating spins on display and how fully devoted to her Harry is. We were all pretty sweaty and grass-stained by the end of this shoot, but it was totally worth it for these gorgeous photos.
